This is going on Kickstarter right now: a smart developer device – packed with a full sensor stack – that practically anyone can use!
The amount of possible use cases is endless: one can either make it into a burglar alarm, a tracking device for pets/kids/car/bicycle or a safety/added coolness device for extremish hobbies such as sky jumping fast snowmobile action.
Since anyone can track practically anything, the device gives an ideal base for creating real-life games. The sensors are basically the same than in a smartphone – except one can add as many more sensors as they like – AND the batter can last up to a year. The device is also waterproof, so it can be used outdoors as well.
